Personal
Ponies
is a non-profit organization composed of volunteers who strive to
spread smiles to the faces of children who are differently able.
We love enriching the lives of Oregon children with disabilities
by providing them the companionship of a small, well-mannered U.K.
Shetland pony to love and care for.
We
also offer ponies to families, and various organizations, who have
or work with children who are differently able, free of charge.
The
Personal Ponies Organization, founded in 1986
by Marianne Alexander, has grown tremendously and is now represented
in almost every state in the nation.
At PERSONAL PONIES, we believe in magic; the magic
that happens between a small pony and a child. Enriching children's
lives, by giving them the opportunity to experience these sweet,
warm, fuzzy ponies, that is our goal.
Discover
how you can help spread
the magic
... in your community.

-- We’ll be
back! Steven never smiles, but he was smiling today – the
whole time we were here. This is marvelous! We’ll be back!
-- Personal Ponies
is like a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It is a special
place for students with disabilities.
-- These wonderful
ponies are so motivating – they make what would normally be
exhausting therapy a fun experience for children. |
